Porcelain, fired
to cone 10, reduction. The border has been left unglazed
except a band applied to the outer rim
and a clear glaze
inlaid into the lines and stamping. A final sanding after firing
leaves the raw porcelain satiny smooth, framing the glazed
landscape sketch. A twisted wire brass hanger that fits the grooved
footrim of the platters is the final accent.
