Swamp Vases

Porcelain, fired to cone 10, reduction. The flower holders are thrown and then stretched into an oval. A tray and dividers are added after the porcelain has stiffened. Stamping and an extruded lug to hold a piece of driftwood finish the piece.   
To use the Swamp Vase fill the tray with water. The flower holder is open at the bottom so the flowers rest in the water. Dividers in the flower holder make it possible to make a pleasing arrangement with as few as two or three flowers
